Here is the Troop Plan for the months of May and June:

The patrol meeting is a summer camp meeting by Nick. The skill is trek safety by Mr. Mess and Sr. Mess. There is a Tony Team Building. The Bionic Chickens close.

May 12, 2008- The Flaming Marshmallows open. The patrol meeting is water safety by Drew. The skill is Timmy. Tenderfoot; Dan is Timmy, Jonah is the good scout. The game is Frisbee. The Flaming Marshmallows close.

May 19, 2008- The Liberty Boys open. During the opening, there is a canoe and backpacking trip report. Both the patrol meeting and the skill are a mechanics workshop by Nick. There is a Tony Team Building. The Liberty Boys close.

June:

June 2, 2008- The Bionic Chickens open. The entire meeting is a swimming practice at the Hampden Pool. The Bionic Chickens close.

June 9, 2008- The Flaming Marshmallows open. The patrol meeting is God and Country by Billy. The skill is physical fitness. The game is a School’s Out Party. The Flaming Marshmallows close.

___________________________________________________________________________

For the School’s Out Party, Jonah’s patrol is bringing desserts, Zach’s patrol is bringing chips, pretzels and other snacks, James’s patrol is bringing drinks, and Dan and Nick are bringing …something.

Nick must call the patrol leaders prior to the party to remind them to remind themselves and the patrol members to bring their specific item for the party.

There is a need for more interesting and exciting yells. Patrol leaders should come up with ideas for their openings and closings, which they must present to the adults to get approved.

This is my last Troop Plan for this year. I will be back when scouting starts up again, after the summer.
